U-ey

A 'U-ey' (also spelled uey or U-ie) is a casual Connecticut and broader Northeastern term for a U-turn made while driving. It is typically used with 'bang,' 'hang,' or 'bust,' as in 'bang a U-ey.' The expression is common throughout southern New England and the New York metro area.
