Texas U-turn

A short curved lane next to a freeway overpass that lets you U-turn from one one-way feeder road directly onto the opposing feeder without going through the signalized intersection. Texas built thousands of them alongside its enormous frontage-road network, so the move feels native to Houston, Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio drivers. Out-of-staters often miss them entirely and circle back through the light instead.
