Created in 1912 by Howell Campbell at Standard Candy Company in Nashville, the Goo Goo Cluster is generally considered the first 'combination' candy bar in America. The name supposedly came from the goo-goo sounds of Campbell's baby. It is the official candy of Nashville and is sold at the Grand Ole Opry and the Country Music Hall of Fame.
