A fast, energetic footwork dance native to Washington, D.C., performed to go-go music. Created in the late 1990s in Southeast D.C. by Marvin 'Slush' Taylor, it spread out of clubs and house parties in neighborhoods like Anacostia. Also rendered 'beating your feet,' it is inseparable from the city's go-go culture.
